Another major milestone for the Queer Café project took place on July 13, 2024, with the second Grand Opening of the new space at 69 Alexei Mateevici Street. Queer Café 2.0 aims to revolutionize the concept of the original space, now open for eight hours on weekdays and serving as a co-working space for the queer community, artists, and activists during the first part of the day.
The new location, more accessible to the public, represents a bold step forward for the queer community. QC 2.0 is no longer just a safe space—it is a visible and unapologetic one, where diversity is celebrated without fear.
We marked this event with an official ceremony attended by the supporters and partners who made this new space possible, followed by an electrifying Drag Show performed by House Mama Draga. DJ Ceai de Lalele set a special atmosphere with a dedicated set for the queer community, who joined us in celebrating the inauguration of this new space.
